Our Story
When my father could no longer live at home, my family faced the overwhelming task of clearing his entire apartment. We were fortunate—my siblings and I could work together to sort through decades of belongings, make difficult decisions, and handle the logistics of donations and disposal. But the experience opened my eyes to a painful reality: many families don't have that support.
I met families who were isolated, grieving, and completely overwhelmed. Adult children living out of state. Veterans with no local family. Seniors in crisis with no one to turn to. They faced impossible deadlines from nursing homes or housing authorities, but had no money to hire professional help and no one to do the work.
As a U.S. Army veteran, I knew I had to serve. I started Serene Spaces Compassionate Fund to be the support system these families desperately need. We provide complete estate clearing services—at no cost to qualifying families—so they can focus on what matters most: caring for their loved one.
